Data Sharing Coalition releases Use case playbook to kickstart new data sharing use cases

This content was created by the Data Sharing Coalition, one of the founding partners of the CoE-DSC.

Today the Data Sharing Coalition (DSC) releases the Use case playbook, a document that provides its readers with a step-by-step approach to kickstart their data sharing use cases.

Tackling the challenges that organisations face when starting a data sharing use case

People across all industries are looking to develop new data sharing use cases in order to address a certain opportunity or challenge. However, developing a new data sharing use case is often a complex endeavour. Use case development challenges may include identifying relevant opportunities, defining a clear scope, assessing the potential for all involved stakeholders, assessing the scope implications on design and creating a use case design that is scalable and reusable.

In order to tackle these challenges, the Data Sharing Coalition developed the Use case playbook. This document provides a step-by-step approach to accelerate use case realisation. It guides its readers through several steps and templates that enable them to kickstart their data sharing use case. The playbook is available for anyone.

A separate document with only the templates can be downloaded here.

White paper: Guidance for successful data space deployment

White paper: Guidance for successful data space deployment

Parties interested in deploying a data space need to use the right technologies and need to make sure they get the business and governance of the data space right. This is easier said than done, because there is relatively little guidance on how to deploy a data space successfully. What guidance can be given?

The benefits of combining data spaces and Privacy Enhancing Technologies

The benefits of combining data spaces and Privacy Enhancing Technologies

Data spaces and Privacy Enhancing Technologies have a common goal: making insights from data accessible in a confidential manner. But the development of both is driven by two different communities. This must change. By applying PETs within data spaces, confidentially exchanging insights from (privacy sensitive) data becomes more scalable.
